Volcanoes Baseball Academy

Mavericks League / Volcanoes Youth Baseball Academy today announced the launch of its new Volcanoes Youth Baseball Academy, a comprehensive training program and state-of-the-art facility designed to elevate youth baseball development in the region.

The Volcanoes Youth Baseball Academy will feature a unique, all-in-one venue where players can experience indoor batting cage time, outdoor artificial turf practice areas, team practices, and games — all at the same location. This groundbreaking setup eliminates the need for players and families to travel between multiple sites, creating a true baseball destination focused on skill-building and enjoyment.

“Our goal is to provide the highest quality coaching and facilities to help young athletes reach their full potential,” said Volcanoes CEO Mickey Walker. “With professional coaches dedicated to player development, the Academy will offer structured training through camps, clinics, private lessons, and competitive play opportunities.”

Tryouts for the Volcanoes Youth Baseball Academy are scheduled as follows:

• 12U to 14U: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• 9U to 11U: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• 9U to 11U: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• 12U to 14U: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• 9U to 11U: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• 12U to 14U: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Players must attend at least one tryout session to be considered. Participants should bring their own equipment.
